Sr. Tax Manager
Deer Park, ILOur clients is a mid-size, full-service CPA firm located in a northwest suburb of Chicago. Due to our continued strong growth, including obtaining new public companies as well as many new larger private companies, we are currently seeking a dedicated team player with 4+ years of recent public accounting or corporate tax experience to lead or assist in tax engagements as our Tax Manager/Supervisor.
- Prepare or review federal, state & local tax returns for corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, tax exempt entities and individuals
- Ability to research complex federal, state and local tax laws and issues, multi-state taxation and fixed asset maintenance
- Determine all information required to ensure complete accurate tax compliance within budget to ensure outstanding client service
- Interaction with clients, manage expectations in a professional environment to provide comprehensive tax services
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
- A minimum of 4 years of public accounting specializing in tax work
- CPA certification
