Sr. HR Manager

The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for driving and executing on HR projects, accountable to the results for Operations/Manufacturing and strong business partnering with senior managers. WIll lead a team of 2 Sr HR professionals and allied support staff. 
  • Ensure transactional basics are functioning and delivering effective and efficient services
  • Responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing a variety of training and development programs and other programs as assigned
  • Oversee some of the junior resources, responsible for their professional development
  • Ensure that Operations/Manufacturing is developing and maintaining a robust and sustainable talent pipeline
  • Affect cultural change to one of a collaborative environment / Support companywide culture change and employee engagement
  • Collaborate with the Director, providing consultative support to management for the consistent and appropriate application of policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with HRBPs to coach Operations/Manufacturing level managers to optimize talent
  • Responsible for employee engagement, employee relations and local training and sustainment of EBS programs and systems within assigned areas
  • Build strong partnership with unions where applicable and understanding of collective bargaining agreements and its implications
  • Provide feedback loop on our HR service delivery

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 10+ years in a leadership role in human resources
  • Experience working in manufacturing with union employees
  • Excellent Labor Relations and Employee Relations skills
  • Demonstrated experience in handling sensitive situations and details with high degree of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to facilitate training across all management levels
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and databases
  • Project management experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead projects independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management to work with tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with individuals at varying levels within the organization
  • Ability to work in environment with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
