Distribution Center HR Generalist - Contract

The Distribution Center Human Resource Generalist serves as a Credible Activist who supports the outcomes for the organization as well as the Talent Excellence agenda. 

As a Credible Activist, the HR Generalist will operate with an emphasis on the following four functional priorities: Change Leader, Culture Builder and Collaborative Partner (One HR). 

Key Credible Activists are strategic business partners who have responsibility to translate human capital implications to support business objectives. 

Human capital implications will include leading change dynamics, building and sustaining a high-performance culture, in addition to performance and talent excellence. 

The DC HR Generalist must possess general business and management skills. Must be available to support all operating shifts directly or indirectly where required

Responsibilities
  • Facilitation of critical organizational initiatives as well as implementing process improvements within Human Resources and across the Distribution Center
  • Handles all on going recruitment and selection process and strategies, including workforce planning, temporary workforce, recruitment events and new hire orientation and on-boarding
  • Works with Human Resource partners to implement Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs, which support the overall business strategy. Train and educate business partners on these policies, programs and procedures
  • Identify ways to streamline resources to provide efficient structure to the organization while remaining consistent with the career banding process
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with Federal and State legislation related to all human resources matters
  • Presents to all levels within their assigned group related to human resource matters, and updates This includes, but is not limited to Business Conduct Guidelines, Performance Excellence, Career Banding, Open Enrollment, and/or Affirmative Action Planning.Fosters effective relationships with external vendors to administer effective employee programs
  • Assist in the implementation and administration a robust communications plan
Requirements:
  • To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the Principal Duties and Responsibilities satisfactorily. 
  • 3 years in HR
  • Must have previous working in a DC environment, 
  • High volume staffing, 
  • experience handling investigations, 
  • Microsoft office (word/excel/pp)
