Position Overview:
The Director will oversee Institutional Client and Investor Relations Associates who are responsible for synthesizing, analyzing, and explaining information concerning our client's philosophy, processes, and portfolios to a variety of audiences.

The Director will be responsible for understanding our client's investment process and articulate how we use it.

This individual will oversee and support responses for all Request For Proposals (RFPs), Requests For Information (RFIs) and Client Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) from Investor prospects, clients, third-party’s, intermediaries and financial advisors, while ensuring quality in order to produce superior proposals/responses.

The Director will also be responsible for writing custom client commentary, quarterly commentary on performance and help with answers for our database of responses.

This individual will serve as a liaison between Institutional Client and Investor Relations and other departments to ensure consistent messaging across teams. This person will play a meaningful part in upholding the firm’s strong reputation by delivering high quality reporting and service.

This person will be a multi-dimensional professional who is able to articulate, write and succinctly communicate our client's investment philosophy and processes to a broad audience of prospects and clients.

•   Work with other members of the team on the RFP/RFI/DDQ process from receipt to interdepartmental review to proofing, ensuring the completed proposal is sent to the requestor on time.
•   Ensure content responses meet the specific needs of each question.
•   Prepare custom commentary for clients on performance and portfolio positioning / outlook.
•   Manage monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, ensuring deadlines are honored.
•   Contribute to the creation of internal marketing reports that can be leveraged by the sales team.
•   Responsible for communicating our client’s philosophy, process and performance to external parties.
•   Ensure all departmental correspondence is professionally produced and compliant with regulatory standards.

EXPERIENCE:

Min five (ideally 5-7) years experience with the RFP process in the investment management industry is required
Demonstrated ability to manage several time sensitive projects simultaneously
Track record of managing people situationally based on skill level, work style, and areas of opportunity.
Knows how to consistently recognize and reward excellent performance and address performance issues head-on, without delay.
Outstanding writing and editing expertise
Acknowledge importance of ownership of work product
Proven ability to work with inter and intra teams seamlessly
BS Degree Required
Will require completion of Series 7 and 63 FINRA registration
